Impromptu interview with Brent Thorpe

Posted: March 27, 2017 in gigs, photos, reviews, venues

What do you do when you front up at a Phuklub show and you have a script full of questions for one of the show and tell performers (like I did on March 19) and the guy  in question doesn’t show?

You get up on stage and do it anyway. Brent did a stint doing escort work in his youth so he lent the occasion an air of authenticity and great storytelling skills.

So we improvised the interview. Brent Thorpe was hilarious and I had a lot of fun.

This is what Jeremy Belin said (thanks again for the wonderful photos buddy!):

“You had to be there. This was one of my favourite acts in Phuklub history… it was interesting, honest, hilarious and totally off the cuff and unrehearsed.”
